Residents in the East Marsh area of Grimsby reported a large police presence last night, Wednesday 31 January, following reports of an incident between Tunnard Street and Park Street.
Officers were called to the scene shortly after 19:30. At least seven police cars and a police van were spotted on scene.
According to eyewitnesses, one man was arrested and officers were seen searching the area before recovering items which were taken away in evidence bags. A scene guard remained in place on Park Street for several hours.
