Man charged for string of crimes after violent attack in Cleethorpes

A man has been charged for a string of crimes following a violent incident in Cleethorpes last month. 

Police were called to the Brereton Avenue area of Cleethorpes in the evening of Wednesday 31 January, following reports of a violent altercation between two people, during which one man sustained lacerations to his arm.

Officers quickly located and arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. He was also arrested on suspicion of several other crimes in connection with separate incidents. 

Police have now confirmed that he has been charged with a string of offences. 

Bradley Lofts, 22, of no fixed abode has been charged with grievous bodily harm, theft, and possession of a bladed article in a public place in connection with the incident. He was also charged with possession of Class A drugs and attempted robbery in connection with separate incidents.

He appeared at Grimsby Magistrates Court on Friday 2 February where he was remanded into custody to appear at court on Monday 4 March.
