Two arrested after Eleanor Street burglary

Two men have been arrested after a burglary on Grimsby’s Eleanor Street over the weekend. 

Officers were called to the scene at around 09:10AM on Saturday 17 February, after it was reported that someone had gained entry to a property overnight. A number of items are believed to have been stolen.

Following lines of enquiry, two men were later arrested on suspicion of burglary.

A 43-year-old man was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled class A drug. A 54-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled class B drug.

Both have been released on bail whilst police enquiries continue.
