The former Foundry pub has reopened as ‘The Old Vic’ having been sold and transformed in an extensive refurbishment project.
The lease for the former Foundry site was taken over by North East Lincolnshire Council who subsequently sold the building to Amber Taverns who have stormed ahead with ambitious plans to invest funds and turn the building into a modern community pub.
Cleethorpes regulars watched while ‘The Old Vic’, underwent a dramatic makeover, which included internal and external repairs, redecoration, a new bar and back bar, new toilets and new flooring. A three-bedroom flat was also created on the first floor.
The pub has now opened to the public.
