A new fast-food restaurant in Cleethorpes has pulled out all the stops after a successful opening weekend.
‘100 Smash Burger’, opened at Cleethorpes Market Place last Friday, which owner Shivan said was a ‘massive success’.
He said the team were not expecting the opening weekend to be as busy, however, to their surprise, after opening at 5pm, they were forced to close at 6pm due to selling out, then sold out again after reopening an hour later.
‘We didn’t know it was going to be that busy-then the day after it was the same again’. Shivan said.
The takeaway offers a selection of ‘smash burgers’ with assortments of loaded fries, wings, tenders, each with a wide selection of condiments.
The burgers are all made ‘from scratch’, including freshly baked bread.
Shivan said everything is locally sourced and ‘as fresh as it can be’, however he said suppliers were in ‘shock’ after they sold out within 2 hours.
‘It’s been an amazing response from the public we’ve had messages all over social media.’ Shivan said.
‘Everything is as fresh as it can be- we want to go step by step and build it up.’ he said.
