Last abnormal load to be transported from Immingham Docks

The final abnormal load is set to be transported tomorrow, prompting advise for motorists to avoid the area.

Motorists are advised to avoid the Brigg and Scawby Brook area once again tomorrow, Friday 24 May, from midday to mid-afternoon when the final in a series of abnormal loads is due to be transported from Immingham Docks to Scawby Brook.

The load is due to leave the docks at 10am and travel along the A160, A180 and M180 westbound.

It is then expected to continue on the A18 towards Brigg at 2pm where it will join the B1206 towards Scawby Brook.

Previous movements have experienced delays, however, North Lincolnshire Council will update their Facebook page if this happens again.

A North Lincolnshire Council Spokesperson said neither the timings nor the route of the load are decided by North Lincolnshire Council.
