To kick off the schedule was the very first “Sing Your Heart Out” event, which took place yesterday in Grimsby Minster.

The idea originated from a “lightbulb moment” from Charlotte Bowen, Director at The Culture House, during a team Christmas Party, where she wondered if an event could be held similar to that of her team all singing their favourite songs together.

The line-up for the inaugural “Sing Your Heart Out” consisted of Chloey Rose, a Grimsby-born-and-bred singer-songwriter, the Blaze Choir, the highly-acclaimed Mardy Johnny Depps, before wrapping up with the All for One Choir.

Gi Grimsby News spoke to Director Charlotte Bowen during the event, where she said, “This event is about feeling good and community connection. That’s the kind of thing the Culture House looks to put out there.”
