Three teenagers have been arrested following an alleged assault in Grimsby on Monday 10 June.
As previously reported by Gi Grimsby News, Humberside Police were called to the Cromwell Road / Haycroft Avenue area at around 1PM following reports of a violent altercation.
Witnesses told Gi Grimsby News they had seen officers with shields and riot gear at the location, as well as blood spread across the pavement outside a shop.
A man suffered serious injuries and was hospitalised as a result.
Police launched an investigation, and have since arrested three teenagers in relation to the incident. Residents living in the area have been told to expect a high police presence in the coming days.
