A new store has recently opened in Cleethorpes that duals as a photography studio and a jewellery store.
Sarah Foster is the mastermind behind the store, stating that it serves as “a creative space for me to make and sell my jewellery, but also my photography and art.”
Sarah, who has a degree in design, previously worked as a graphic designer before working in a jewellery shop. She said, “I made jewellery that was sold in that shop during Covid as a result of me teaching myself how to make jewellery.”
Since then, Sarah has also dabbled in photography with the ambition of doing beach photoshoots with people and businesses but, “with the terrible weather”, she felt the need to invest in an inside space to keep at her photography.
“It’s always been my dream to have a studio by the sea.”, Sarah explained.
This passion, combined with her love of creating hand-made, bespoke jewellery, led her to open ‘Sarah Foster Studios’ on Alexandra Road, Cleethorpes.
Gi Grimsby News visited Sarah at her studio who explained that she “wanted a studio to pull it all together” and to also provide a service to local businesses who may need someone to help with their marketing and social media management, as Sarah has had experience helping businesses in the past.
Simultaneously however, she also hand-crafts jewellery under the brand “Signature”. Sarah explained to us that she makes all of the charms out of wax, and then casts them in sand gathered from Cleethorpes Beach.
Sarah explained, “I don’t have a limit on size. I am also very quick when it comes to turnaround and I do personalised orders and repairs too.”
