Grimsby charity fundraiser raises over £1000

A charity fundraiser in Grimsby raised over £1000 after a Tea Party and Dog Show over the weekend.

The event was held at Grimsby Blue Cross Animal Hospital, where attendees were invited for tea and cake, stalls, and dog portraits, including the dog show.

On Saturday 15th June, the charity welcomed the public, for a day of activities.

Following the event, a spokesperson confirmed £1173 was raised on the day, for the Blue Cross, who rely ‘entirely on donations and fundraising’.

The spokesperson gave thanks to everyone, including volunteers, those entering the dog show, donating prizes and teddies, baking cakes and those who attended the tea party.

A Grimsby Blue Cross Animal Hospital spokesperson said:

‘Everyone had a great time and it was great to see so many lovely dogs in the dog show, and owners enjoying the tea and cakes and the stalls- We hope to have another one in October this year too.’
