Residents in the Freeman Street area of Grimsby reported a large police presence yesterday, Tuesday 25 June, after armed police descended on the road.
Officers were in attendance at the location at around 17:30, when armed police were seen outside the block of flats.
A road closure was also put in place.
According to reports, no arrests were made at the time, however police are thought to have moved to a second location a short while after.
A Humberside Fire & Rescue drone was also used during the callout, it is currently unknown what the nature of the incident was.
