Both Brewers Fayre venues in Grimsby and Cleethorpes are set to close to the public on Friday, July 5th, following the decision to make changes at both of the restaurants.
In April, owner Whitbread announced plans to close more than 100 restaurants and would be axing over 1,500 jobs in the UK. It was previously speculated that the Brewers Fayre venues would be transformed into additional hotel rooms; however, this has now been proven false and is not the case.
While both restaurants will be retained, they will be de-branded, becoming Premier Inn eateries, and only serving hotel guests, rather than serving the general public.
The changes are set to be enforced starting Friday, July 5th, with the majority of customers losing access henceforth.
