Emergency services were called to Tesco Superstore in Cleethorpes this afternoon, Thursday 4 July, following reports of a significant gas leak.
Humberside Fire and Rescue, Humberside Police and Cadent Gas were all called to the scene shortly before 14:00.
Witnessed told Gi Grimsby News that there was an “extremely strong smell of gas” in the area.
A cordon remains in place, with the entrance to the car park taped off. Motorists are instead being diverted to the secondary lane, leading to the overflow car park.
