CEO of Tillett’s Melanie Tillett, said the whole team has ‘progressed with our growth plans’.

‘We never had a boardroom a good few years ago we actually closed our three stores down in the pandemic and moved the online operation to Wilton Road where we are now, and we really progressed on with our growth plans.

‘I’ve got a team of around 30 people, they’re a very dedicated passionate team, I’m very passionate about the business and my daughters are, and it really comes across, and we tend to build that team up to work to the best of their abilities.’ Melanie said.

Speaking further about the superstore plans, Melanie said:

‘We’ve got a huge story going on, we are currently in the process of developing a warehouse unit that we bought a couple of years ago, that one is going to be turned into a Tillett’s superstore, just around the corner from here.

‘We are going to be enabling in person shopping again which will be fantastic, currently we have around 200 customers a week coming to our click and collect point, local customers.’ she said.

‘We’ve got lots of plans in place for growing the business, obviously the operation to open up the superstore, that’s going to be great for locals, but its also great for Cleethorpes, we encourage a lot of people to come to Cleethorpes they come and stay to see us, and they see the sights of the town as well.

‘We do sell all over the world, we are international, we’d like to conquer UK first, but nothing is out of the question.’ Melanie concluded.
