Man found on Cleethorpes beach still unidentified

Investigations are continuing after the body of a man was found on Cleethorpes beach last month.

At around 11.30am on Tuesday 25 June officers were called to the location.

It is understood the man’s death is currently still being treated as unexplained, and work is still continuing to identify him.

The officer investigating the incident, Detective Inspector Steve Antrobus said:

“The man’s death is currently being treated unexplained, however is not thought to be suspicious.

“Investigations are continuing and we are following lines of enquiry to identify him.”

“Anyone with information that may assist our enquiries is asked to call our non-emergency 101 line quoting log 181 of 25 June or the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
