Police are working to identify a man who is believed to be from the Grimsby area, following reports of an assault earlier this year.
The incident occurred in the Carousel Bar on the High Street in Lincoln on 20 April 2024. Officers say they have been investigating the incident since it happened but have been unable to find a particular man who they are interested in speaking to.
The victim is said to have sustained serious facial injuries as a result of the attack.
Lincolnshire Police have now issued a public appeal in a bid to identify and locate the man, explaining that they have “exhausted all other lines of inquiry.”
They wrote: “Can you help us to identify the man in these images? We would like to speak to him in connection with an ongoing investigation into a report of assault which occurred in the Carousel Bar on the High Street, Lincoln on 20 April 2024 where a victim sustained serious facial injuries.
“We have been investigating since this was reported, and this is the latest line of enquiry we want to follow – and we need your help. We are not asking for witnesses to the incident, we are asking for information as to who this person is and their whereabouts. We have exhausted all other lines of inquiry. We believe he may be from the Grimsby area.
