Police are searching for a Lincolnshire woman who has been missing for almost two days.
Penny was last seen 8.30PM on Tuesday 14 January in the East Ferry area of Gainsborough.
54-year-old Penny is described as around 5ft 8″ tall, with blonde shoulder length hair, hazel eyes, and pierced ears. She may also be smoking cigarettes and may be travelling in a red Audi TT with the registration B8 NAM.
Officers say they are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are carrying out extensive searches of the Lincolnshire area on foot, using vehicle patrols and the police drone.
They are also carrying out a number of other enquiries, and have been seen scouring wooded areas, including Laughton Woods near Gainsborough and the surrounding countryside. Lincolnshire Police are appealing to the public for for help locating Penny, and have requested that people across the county, but especially anyone who is out walking dogs in the Gainsborough area keep an eye out and contact them if they see Penny or her car.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We hope that by sharing details of the distinctive car along with her image, someone might be able to get in touch with information about where it might be to focus our search efforts.”
