Man charged after knife-point robbery

A 58-year-old man has been charged after an attempted robbery at a property in Grimsby.

According to reports, a man is alleged to have rang the doorbell of a house and when the resident opened the door he is reported to have threatened them with a knife whilst demanding money.

A 58-year-old man was arrested. Paul Hemsworth has now been charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Hull Magistrates Court today, Friday 24 January.
