A cargo ship has run aground in the Humber Estuary.
It is understood the H&S Wisdom vessel left Rotterdam on Saturday 1 March and was travelling to Guinness Wharf Port, when it encountered a navigational error and became stuck.
According to Vessel Finder the vessel is listed as a general cargo ship. It was built in 2004 and is currently sailing under the flag of the Netherlands.
An attempt was made yesterday evening to free the vessel, however it is unclear whether it remains stuck in Humber.
