Yesterday, Monday 10 March, HM Humber Coastguard issued a call via radio, warning nearby ships that the cargo vessel Solong had collided with the tanker Stena Immaculate.
The Coastguard urgently requested assistance from vessels equipped with firefighting gear or search and rescue capabilities as crews were in the process of evacuating into the water.
