Local jewellery brand expands with fresh-looking store

A new store offering handmade jewellery has opened in Cleethorpes following the enormous success of the brand’s sister location and the original store.

‘In The Pink Jewellery’, headed by Sarah and Katie Foster at 41 Alexandra Road, opened on April 1st and continues the efforts of Sarah’s first store, her own photography, art, and jewellery studio.

The studio opened last June a few doors down at 32 Alexandra Road and combined her love for jewellery, art, and, in particular, photography, which “went from strength to strength”, says Katie.

However, following its success, Sarah and Katie decided to relocate focusing solely on jewellery, with the studio now centring on her photography.

Previously, ‘In The Pink’ was based on St. Peter’s Avenue and, after taken over by Sarah and Katie five years ago is now relocating to Alexandra Road under a new partnership and from the success of Sarah’s studio.

Katie said: “We decided to collaborate on a new store that combines Sarah’s handmade jewellery and the jewellery our customers know and love at ‘In The Pink’ with a new look and new location.”

“We love Alexandra Road for its beach views and its bustling nature of tourists and locals out walking and enjoying what’s on offer”, she added.

The store’s look takes inspiration from the couple’s last trip to Southern California, where they got the idea of wanting to create a relaxed environment with natural materials, presenting a “calm vibe for shopping and finding the perfect gift or jewellery treat.”

Sarah’s jewellery is all made on-site in her workshop, and customers can book appointments with her to create bespoke pieces or enlist her additional services, including repairs, watch battery replacements, ear piercings, and wedding and engagement rings.
