Three charged after £50k cannabis farm found in Grimsby

Three people have been charged following an attempt break-in and a cannabis grow discovery in Grimsby.

Officers were called to Arthur Street on Wednesday 16 April, after they received reports of a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, three people were seen fleeing the scene and a cannabis grow valued at around £50,000 was found. 

19-year-old Patrick Cash, 22-year-d Gabriel Prelaj and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were arrested a short while after. They have since been charged with burglary and conspiracy to supply class B drugs.

All three have been remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today, Thursday 17 April.
