One of North East Lincolnshire’s most popular family attractions is opening its gates for free every Wednesday during term time as part of a new mental health initiative.
Nunny’s Farm, located on Wootton Road, has launched Wellbeing Wednesdays, allowing visitors to enjoy the farm with an optional donation instead of a set entry fee. According to the organisation, the initiative aims to break down financial barriers and make nature more accessible for everyone.
A spokesperson for the farm said: “Nunny’s Farm is committed to helping improve mental health with animals and nature.
“Being in nature and around animals have proven to improve mood, therefore we feel that it is important that everyone has the opportunity to visit the farm.”
Farm owners Jo and Neil are also offering half-price entry for all visitors from 3PM on weekdays during term time, and have introduced a range of groups and clubs for all ages, designed to encourage people to get outside, connect with nature, and enjoy meaningful social interaction.
