North East Lincolnshire Council has announced two upcoming road closures in Grimsby town centre.
The closure will be in effect on Osbourne Street, between 7AM and 5:30PM on Sunday 27 April, while a crane is being used to lift a heavy piece of machinery into a business on Victoria Street West.
Victoria Street West will also be closed between Lloyds Bank and Pizza Hut while the machinery is moved into place. According to the council, pedestrian access and entry to shops will remain available both before and after the lift.
It is understood that a signed diversion route will be in place via Doughty Road and Garden Street to help manage traffic flow during the closure. Parking suspensions and temporary signage will also be in place.
