Humberside Police has issued a warning after a ‘suspicious’ man was seen attempting to gain access to vehicles.
Multiple incidents are reported to have occurred in the Great Coates Village area on the early hours of Thursday 27 April, prompting a warning from officers.
Vehicle owners have been urged to ensure cars and vans are kept secure and locked, with nothing of value left on display.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We have had reports of a suspicious male trying car door handles at various locations throughout Great Coates Village.
“Please make sure all vehicles are locked and secure and nothing of value is left on show.”
