Tragedy as man dies after being found unconscious in Cleethorpes

A 54-year-old man has tragically died after being found unconscious on a street in Cleethorpes.

Emergency services were called to Knoll Street at around 5:15pm on Thursday 1 May, following reports of an unresponsive man. Paramedics and first responders rushed to the scene and attempted to resuscitate the 54-year-old, but despite their best efforts, he sadly died.

Knoll Street was temporarily closed, and a scene guard was put in place to allow emergency crews to carry out their work.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “The man’s family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will now be prepared for the coroner.”

Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance also attended the incident.
