Three arrested after vehicle thefts in Grimsby

Three men have been arrested in Grimsby following a series of incidents linked to vehicle and bike thefts.

On Wednesday 7 May, officers patrolling the town with police dogs spotted two men identified as suspects in a string of bike thefts. Both men were prosecuted. A stolen bicycle was also recovered during the operation.

Later that day, officers responded to reports of multiple vehicles being entered and property stolen in the Yarborough Road area. Following a brief pursuit, a male suspect was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and vehicle interference.

Humberside Police are urging local residents to check their vehicles and report any signs of interference or theft. Anyone affected is asked to call the non-emergency line on 101, quoting log 37 of 07/05/25.
