A woman who was tragically found dead at a property in Louth has been formally identified as 47-year-old mother-of-three Marriclare Bradshaw, known to her family as Maz.
Emergency services were called to St Bernard’s Close on Thursday 1 May, where Marriclare’s body was discovered.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed her identity this week.
In a heartfelt tribute, her family said: “Her mischievous smile and her distinctive laugh made Marriclare the life and soul of any gathering. She was mother to Marrianne, Ashley and Boadi, daughter of Eric and Ann-Mary Leach, and sister to Veronica Walton and Vicky Leach, who sadly passed in 2007. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her! Fly high Maz!”
Police previously stated they are “keeping an open mind about the cause and circumstances of her death.” A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officers continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Lincolnshire Police by calling 101 or emailing force.control@lincs.police.uk, quoting log number 282 of 1 May. Information can also be passed on anonymously via Crimestoppers.
