Pair in court after Grimsby drug raids 

Two men have appeared at court following a series of drug raids in Grimsby.

On Thursday 8 May, officers for Humberside Police’s Kinetic Intervention, Proactive and Neighbourhood Policing Teams attended four addresses on Curry Road, Dunmow Street, Ravenspurn Way and Wharfdale Way in Grimsby. The action came as part of efforts to tackle organised crime in the area.

During the searches, two men were arrested and suspected class A drugs, mobile phones and cash were found and seized.

Joseph Sergent, 32, and Luke Smith, 32, 

have both been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Smith has also been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

Both appeared at Grimsby Magistrates court yesterday morning, Friday 9 May.
