Missing Grimsby man not seen in over a week

Humberside Police are appealing for the public’s help to locate 59-year-old Norman, who has been missing for more than a week.

He was last seen at approximately 12:20 p.m. on Friday 2 May, in the Scartho Road area of Grimsby. He was officially reported missing on Wednesday 7 May.

It is believed that Norman may be sleeping in wooded areas around Grimsby, as he is known to gravitate toward these locations.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Norman or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are asking if anyone, particularly runners or dog walkers using wooded areas, who see any tents pitched up or what looks to be somebody sleeping outdoors can they please contact us on 101 quoting Log Ref. 247 from 07/05/2025.”
