‘A music festival with a ‘ground-breaking array’ of national music artists is coming to Cleethorpes.
Inspired by a classic track of the same name, the ‘Everybody Loves the Sunshine’ event is happening this summer.
It will be hosted at Meridian Showground Cleethorpes on Saturday 2nd August, 2025.
The event is organised by The Culture House, and will feature six live bands and five DJs, all across jazz, funk, soul, afrobeat, hip hop and more.
In association with highly regarded UK record label Tru Thoughts, this event will host three of Tru Thoughts’ signed artists – Steve Bamidele, Tara Lily and DJWheel Up.
Other artists include the super-talented, locally-based jazz funk vocalist Spencer Booth and his band as well as Leeds six piece Mikoudi, plus Sam Redmore and the Tropical Soundclash.
Tickets are now on sale for the event, that takes place from 1pm – 11pm at Meridian Showground in the resort.
Charlotte Bowen, Culture House director said:
“Cleethorpes is and has been home to some fantastic music events, including Cleethorpes Jazz Weekend which we have previously produced.
“We now want to welcome some of the UK’s ground-breaking artists to our coast for the enjoyment of both residents and visitors.
“This diverse programme is about musical discovery, while just kicking back and enjoying that summer vibe”.
