Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries after collision

A cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after an incident on the A16.

Emergency services were called to the A16, Louth Road near Grimsby at around 6.40pm yesterday, Wednesday 14 May, following reports that a 59-year-old man had fallen from a bicycle and suffered serious injures.

He was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition.

Police are now appealing for information and witnesses.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers continue their enquiries to establish the circumstances around the collision, if anyone has any information that could assist with the investigation or has dashcam from around the time the collision occurred, please call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 518 of 14 May.”
