North East Lincolnshire Council has announced a series of full road closures as part of a £1.1 million carriageway reconstruction project on Moody Lane in Grimsby, set to run until the end of July.
The works are scheduled to begin on Monday 2 June and will affect the section of Moody Lane between the Novartis exit (near Woad Lane) and Gilbey Road.
The project will be delivered in two phases and is expected to be completed by Saturday 26 July.
Phase One will involve the replacement of damaged drainage gullies and connections, along with full-depth carriageway reconstruction. These works will require a full road closure, implemented in sections to maintain access for local businesses. Closures for each section will remain in place 24 hours a day.
Phase Two, beginning on Tuesday 22 July, will focus on final surfacing and road marking. This stage will be carried out under overnight closures, from 7PM to 5AM, and will also be split into three sections.
During both phases, vehicle access and parking will be prohibited in affected areas.
