Fire breaks out at Immingham warehouse

A fire has broken out at a warehouse in Immingham, with emergency services on the scene.

The warehouse, located at the Pelham Industrial Estate along Manby Road, belongs to ‘Enva’, a battery recycling firm.

It is not currently known what caused the fire, but a spokesperson for the Humberside Fire & Rescue Service said that the fire is in relation to batteries at the premises.

There are unconfirmed reports that the fire started earlier this morning, at approximately 6AM, but Gi Grimsby News has been unable to verify these claims.
