Police have cordoned off Roberts Street in Grimsby this afternoon, Tuesday 3 June, following reports of a man taking to the roof of a property.
Officers were called to the scene earlier today and have since closed the road between Durban Road and Stanley Street while the incident is ongoing.
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were in attendance on Roberts Street in Grimsby after a man reportedly took to the roof of a house to avoid arrest this afternoon (Tuesday 3, June).
“A cordon was in place to protect the safety of residents whilst emergency services brought the incident to a safe conclusion.”
