A huge blaze which broke out at a warehouse in Immingham took over six hours to extinguish.
Humberside Fire & Rescue Crews were called to reports of a large fire at a battery recycling centre on Manby Road at around 6AM on Saturday 31 May.
A total of seven fire engines and an aerial ladder appliance were used to tackle the fire, which took crews hours to extinguish. They remained on site for most of the day, scaling back resources at around 11AM, before continuing to dampen down hotspots and returning the following day to prevent re-ignition.
A spokesperson for Humberside Fire & Rescue confirmed the blaze had started inside the storage warehouse, adding that the fire had been started accidentally.
