A 61-year-old man has sadly died after collapsing in a park in Cleethorpes last week.
Emergency services were called to Sidney Park on Friday 6 June, following reports that a man had suffered a medical episode.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead.
A police cordon remained in place for much of the day to allow for investigations to be carried out.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were called to attend Sidney Park in Cleethorpes following reports of a man suffering a medical episode at around 10am on Friday, 6 June.
“Emergency services attended and a man was taken to hospital to receive treatment, where he died short while later.
“A scene guard was in place at the time whilst officers carried out lines of enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding his death, which is not thought to be suspicious and is currently being treated as unexplained.
“The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers.”
