A 73-year-old woman has suffered serious injuries an after being hit by a bus.
Emergency services were called to Wingate Road in Grimsby this morning, Wednesday 11 June. Upon arrival the woman was found to have suffered “serious injuries to her arm”. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to carry out their work.
Humberside Police are now appealing for information.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Wingate Road, Grimsby at around 8.50am this morning (Wednesday, 11 June).
“It is reported a bus collided with a pedestrian, and the pedestrian, a 73-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries to her arm.
“The road was closed at the time to allow emergency services to work safely.
“If anyone witnessed the collision, or has dashcam from around the time it occurred, please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 88 of 11 June.”
