Overall crime has dropped by 5% in North East Lincolnshire, according to figures released by Humberside Police.
The data shows notable reductions in specific areas, with incidents of antisocial behaviour falling by 14% and alcohol-related crimes decreasing by 51% between 2023 and 2025.
Police attributed the improvements to proactive operations including Op Mastery, which involves targeted action days in the town centre; Op Yellowfin, focused on tackling antisocial behaviour involving motorbikes; and Op Agility, aimed at reducing antisocial behaviour in Immingham.
While welcoming the progress, officers acknowledged that “there is still more work to be done.”
A spokesperson for the force said: “Our North East Lincolnshire Neighbourhood Policing Teams are out every single day tackling concerns raised from the community.
“We know that Anti-Social Behaviour is one of the highest reported crimes in the area and in direct response to this, we are working in collaboration with local partners such as Humberside Fire & Rescue and North East Lincolnshire council to tackle interconnected issues and concerns.”
