A teenager has been arrested and charged after armed police descended on a street in Scunthorpe.
Humberside Police were called to Ashby Road -5 around 7.40PM on Monday 30 June following reports of a person in possession of a knife.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was located at the scene and found in possession of two knives.
He was arrested and has since been charged with being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and has been bailed to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court at a later date.d
