Traffic lights on one of Grimsby’s busiest roads were left severely damaged following a crash.
Emergency services were called to Peaks Parkway yesterday afternoon, Thursday 31 July, after a white Honda collided with the traffic lights and central reservation at the Welholme Road junction.
The road was closed for some time while the vehicle was recovered, with traffic redirected around the area.
No one is believed to have been injured in the incident.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Officers were called to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision on Peaks Parkway in Grimsby at around 2.10pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday, 31 July).
“It is reported a white Honda was in collision with traffic lights and the central reservation at the junction of Welholme Road and Peaks Parkway. Thankfully, nobody sustained any injuries as a result.”
