Abandoned house goes up in flames

An abandoned building in Humberston has been damaged by fire for the second time this year.

Fire crews were called to Tetney Road at around 6.30PM on Friday 22 August, with multiple engines sent to tackle a blaze at a derelict camper van which had spread to a neighbouring property. The road was closed for some time as a result.

The camper was destroyed and the property, which was previously targeted in a suspected arson attack in May, suffered major damage.

Crime scene officers were seen at the building on Saturday morning as investigations continued.

Humberside Police have been contacted for comment.
