Cannabis grow worth £30k found in raid 

An investigation has been launched after £30,000 worth of drugs were found at a property in Scunthorpe.

Yesterday, Tuesday 2 September, officers from Humberside Police’s Kinetic Intervention Team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant on Grosvenor Street South. 

Upon entering the property, officers discovered approximately 100 to 150 cannabis plants. They have been valued as having an estimated street value of £30,000.

An investigation has been launched to identify those responsible.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Enquiries remain ongoing to identify those involved, and we would always urge anyone with information or concerns about drugs in their area to please report online or via our non-emergency number 101.
