A young Grimsby boy living with a life-limiting heart condition is on a mission to visit every football league ground in the country.
Nine-year-old Reggie has faced a lifelong battle with his health. In March 2023, he underwent his third open-heart surgery, during which he suffered multiple mini-strokes. His family were told he might never wake up – but just days later, he opened his eyes.
As football-mad Reggie began to recover, his family made him a special promise – once he was out of hospital, they would visit all 92 league stadiums together.
Two years on, Reggie has already ticked off 15 grounds, with 77 still to go. Most recently, he was among 6,000 other Grimsby Town fans as the team knocked Sheffield Wednesday out of the Carabao Cup and secured their place in the fourth round!

Dad, Lee Aslin, said: “Reggie also has a life-limiting heart condition so we don’t know how long we have Reggie for – so to complete the 92 would be amazing.”
Here are some photos of Reggie’s footballing journey so far…
