Four teenagers have been arrested, following efforts to tackle concerns around drug crime in the West Marsh area of Grimsby.
On Thursday 9 October, officers for Humberside Police’s Kinetic Intervention Team and the Grimsby West Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out searches at two properties on Haycroft Street and Macauley Way. They were later called back out in relation to an alleged sighting of a group of boys wanted in connection with drug activity in the area.
Officers attended and located two 16-year-old boys, who were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, being concerned in the supply of class C drugs, burglary and theft from motor vehicle. Two 14-year-old boys were also arrested.
A search of three further properties revealed a quantity of Class B and C Drugs.
All four teenagers have since been released under investigation.
