Teenager seriously injured after e-scooter crash in Grimsby

A 17-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision between an e-scooter and a car in Grimsby.

Emergency services were called to Bethlehem Street at around 1.15pm yesterday, Tuesday 14 October, after reports of the crash.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene and later reopened in the evening.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to contact them as investigations continue.

A spokesperson for the force said: “If you witnessed the collision, have dashcam footage from around the time of the incident, or have any further information that may assist our investigation, please call us on our non-emergency number, quoting log 242 of 14 October.”
