Communities gather for Remembrance Sunday events

Residents across North East Lincolnshire came together this morning to honour servicemen and women who have been injured or lost their lives in conflict, as part of Remembrance Sunday commemorations.

Hundreds joined a parade from Grimsby Minster to the Cenotaph at Nun’s Corner, where wreaths were laid by local dignitaries, veterans, and community representatives. The service concluded with a two-minute silence in tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the two world wars and subsequent conflicts.
