Grimsby to mark Remembrance Day with two-minute silence

A two-minute silence will be observed outside Grimsby Town Hall to mark Remembrance Day.

The event, which will take place at 11am tomorrow, Tuesday 11 November, will honour and remember the sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces.

The act of remembrance follows a series of parades held across the borough over the weekend, which paid tribute to servicemen and women who have given their lives or been injured in conflict.

The event is expected to be attended by council members, local dignitaries, and residents from across the area.
