As the festive season draws near, Christmas markets are preparing to return across northern Lincolnshire and the Humber region. From handmade crafts to local produce and seasonal gifts, these events offer the perfect chance to find something special — and soak up the holiday spirit.
Here’s a look at some of the markets taking place in the coming weeks.
Grimsby:
The Grimsby Christmas Village will run for ten days, from Friday 28 November to Sunday 7 December, in Riverhead Square. The Great Grimsby Christmas Festival will also take place in St James Square on Saturday 22 November 2025, featuring the town’s Christmas light switch-on.
Cleethorpes:
Cleethorpes’ Christmas tree will be switched on during a festive celebration on Friday 28 November, which traditionally includes live music and entertainment.
Bridlington:
Bridlington Christmas Food Festival will take place on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November on King Street. The event will also feature a popular ice trail.
Hull:
Hull Danish Church will host a festive market on Saturday 29 November, from 10am to 4pm. Entry costs £2, with free admission for children.
Cottingham:
The Cottingham Christmas Festival takes place on Sunday 30 November, from 10am to 4.30pm.
Horncastle:
The Walled Garden Baumber will hold its Christmas market across two weekends — Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November, and again on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 November — from 10am to 4pm each day.
Barton-upon-Humber:
The Ropewalk Christmas Art Market returns on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December, from 10am to 4pm.
