The A16 is currently closed following a two-vehicle collision near Grainsby.
Emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, were called to the scene shortly after 2.30pm.
Diversions are in place, directing traffic either east towards Tetney or onto the A18 towards Ludborough. Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and follow the clearly signposted diversion routes.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “Following a collision between two vehicles on the A16 near Grainsby the road will be closed for some time.”
